Day 1: Arrival in Cusco Airport – Transfer to hotel in Sacred Valley 

Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, meet our Discover Satori representative for a transfer to your hotel in Sacred Valley. If arriving early, you will have time to stop in several lookout spot to sight and appreciate most important sites through the sacred valley while you will be guided with the short visit to an Alpaca and Llama zoo. After your check-in you will have enough time to take acclimatization and relax in your hotel and be prepared for Machu Picchu day.

Day 2:  Private Machu Picchu Tour – Overnight in Aguas Calientes

By the morning after your breakfast, meet your expert guide for a drive by private car to the Ollantaytambo train station. During your journey to Machu Picchu by train, you will get to see impressive landscapes, Andean towns, snow-cap Mountains and valleys, coming down towards the jungle and the banks of the Urubamba River. Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes town, you will be transferred by public bus to Machu Picchu Inca site, lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge included. In the afternoon full a memorable exploring through the “lost city of the Incas” Machu Picchu and let yourself be swept away by the magical landscape that surrounds to make in true one of your bucket list. With last photos and then return to hotel in Aguas Calientes, in the evening you have chance to go to hot spring to relax.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Return to Ollantaytambo – (Maras – Moray Tour & Chinchero Market)

After your long rest the night at Aguas Calientes hotel enjoy your breakfast before go to train station; however, make sure to arrive at the train station 30 minutes prior to your train’s departure. On arrival at Ollantaytambo train station, meet your guide for a tour in Sacred Valley (Maras and Moray). First you explore the multi-hued salt pans of Maras. The huge salt mines have been in use since the pre-colonial times. Once you are done with Maras, you will visit the concentric circle terraces of Moray which descend nearly 500 feet (150 meters) into the earth. This is where the different micro-climates of the region were researched, then visit Chinchero, the traditional handy craft market, later we return to Hotel in Cusco arriving at 17:00 hrs approx.

Day 4: Private City tour & Around of Cusco 

Today is an exciting day to explore the heart of Cusco city!!! You will begin your day with a private guided tour of Cusco’s most important sites. You will start with a visit to the Cusco Cathedral and Qoricancha. Later, you will see the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay (temple of water), and Sacred Alters on the Bed Rock formations. Then you will spend the afternoon at your leisure.  You can shop with locals at San Pedro Market or wander on the streets of bohemian 12 angles.

Day 5: Fly from Cusco to Lima 

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. (Optional recommended excursion) – Depending on the time of your international flight, you can take the opportunity to squeeze in a private tour of Lima’s key sites. Please ask our travel advisors.
