Day 1: Arrival in Lima Airport. Transfer to hotel included

Once you arrive to the Lima airport, you will meet our Discover Satori representative for a transfer to your confirmed Lima hotel. If arriving early, you can also take in scenic “Parque Del Amor” (Love Park) in Miraflores for views of Lima’s gorgeous coastline. If you arrive to Lima in the early afternoon, one of our representatives will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in the scenic waterfront district of Miraflores.

DAY 2: Nazca Lines Flight. Overnight in Paracas

After having your breakfast and at the pre-arranged time, one of our representatives will pick you up from your accommodation to take you to the station where you will take a bus to Pisco. Upon your arrival at Pisco, a Discover Satori representative will be waiting for you in order to take you to the local airport. Your luggage will be stored at the airport and then you will board a small aircraft for a thrilling flight over the Nazca Lines (This place holds the enormous (15 to 300 m. each) ancient man-made figures of animals, such as the spider, monkey, dog, condor, among others. After landing, you will be taken to your Paracas hotel where you will spend the night here. You also will relax by the pool, enjoying the sunset over Paracas Bay.

DAY 3: Tour in Ballestas Islands. Return to Lima

In this tour, you will visit the Paracas National Reserve and getting around wildlife wonderland on the Ballestas Islands via boat and on foot. You will see the famous Candelabro and the Humbolt penguins, pelicans, flamencos, roaring sea lions and spot dolphins. After the tour, you will take a bus to head back to Lima. Upon your arrival to Lima, one of our representatives will wait for you to take you to your Lima Hotel.

DAY 4: Fly to Cusco. Relax and getting around

Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, meet our Discover Satori representative for a transfer to your hotel in Cusco. After your check-in you will have enough time to take acclimatization and relax in your hotel and be prepared for Cusco day. If you’re up for a bit of exploring, the city center is pedestrian-friendly and full of fascinating sites, colors, museums, markets, Main Square and people. We’re happy to recommend the city’s best options for delicious dining and exciting shopping. Remember to take it easy on your first day at altitude.

DAY 5: Private Cusco City Tour.

Today is an exciting day to explore the heart of Cusco city!!! You will begin your day with a private guided tour of Cusco’s most important sites. You will start with a visit to the Cusco Cathedral and Qoricancha. Later, you will see the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay (temple of water), and Sacred Alters on the Bed Rock formations. Then you will spend the afternoon at your leisure.  You can shop with locals at San Pedro Market, wander on the streets of 12 angles (stonework) or bohemian San Blas.

DAY 6: Private Sacred Valley Tour. Return to Cusco

By the morning, after your breakfast, you will meet your guide for a trip to the Sacred Valley. Along the Valley, you will see stunning farmland of cornfield and the Urubamba River. Your private tour continue  with the short  visit to an Alpaca and Llama zoo, then head to an Inca cemetery at the ruins of Pisac, followed by  the monolithic fortress ruins and village of Ollantaytambo. Finally, visit Chinchero, the traditional handy craft market, later we return to Hotel in Cusco arriving at 17:00 hrs approx.

DAY 7: Short Inca Trail hike. Overnight in Machu Picchu

You will wake up early and meet your guide in your Cusco hotel or similar accommodation in order to go to the trail head that is in km 104 (Chachabamba). This memorable journey will be by Train and you will go through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and along the bank of Urubamba River. Once you get to the km 104 following the railway, you will get off the train here and get ready for your unforgettable hike. You will hike by around 6.5 hours in total. Along the trail you will able to see the flora, fauna and some Inca ruins until you make it to Machu Picchu Inca City.

After you take some pictures and enjoy the sunset and fresh air in Machu Picchu, you will catch the bus to head back to Aguas Calientes town.

Important Note: Sometimes train tickets sell out quickly and we must take an alternative train, the Expedition train at 6:10 A.M. If this is the case, we will have to start this tour instead, at 4 A.M. from your hotel.

DAY 8: Private Machu Picchu Tour. Return to Cusco

Day 8 will be one of the more remarkable and busy day, because you will visit one of the 7 new wonders of the world and thus you will need to wake up early and will go up to Machu Picchu sanctuary with your guide by bus and you will have a memorable walking tour through the “Lost City of the Incas”. Let yourself be swept away by the magical landscape that surrounds this important ruin. Finish up with last photos and then return to Aguas Calientes town for the return trip to Cusco/ Sacred Valley.

DAY 9:  Rainbow Mountain hike

In the morning, you will meet your guide for a drive to the Rainbow Mountain that takes 3-hour drive from Cusco. Along the way, you’ll see wonderful valleys and some traditional local houses. Once you get to the trailhead you will get ready and start hiking for two hours until you reach the highest Pass (Rinbow Mountain) that is with an elevation of 16,300 feet (5,200 meters). You will return to trailhead for lunch and then begin the return drive to Cusco.

DAY 10: Return to Lima or continue your journey.

After enjoying your final breakfast at your Cusco hotel, one of our representatives will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Cusco airport to begin your journey back home. (Optional recommended excursion) – Depending on the time of your international flight, you can take the opportunity to squeeze in a private tour of Lima’s key sites. Please ask our travel advisors.
